Throughout this module, I have been working on a zine, a little magazine type book including a selection of images which I have enjoyed creating during lock down. Today I received these in print, this was an experiment and therefore the images used have no bearing on my project whatsoever, it was purely for experimental reasons and to see what notes I could make once having received the zine. The layout and design are perfect and just what I wanted to achieve, I feel it would benefit from a couple more pages even if adding pages with text to add more body. The image alone on each page is missing something and could maybe look better with a few words introducing each image. I really like the aesthetic of the finished product and now know its just the image selection which I need to work on. The reason I haven't used images directly linked to my research is that I'm still in the selection process at the moment and have more images I would hope to have before the submission deadline. This is totally weather dependant. It could be that the images I hope to obtain through stormy weather will feature within the coming modules. Either way, I'm excited to see the outcome and look forward to seeing all modules merged together to form the foundation of my final major project.
